National Express East Anglia (NXEA) is running additional train services for Christmas shoppers visiting Colchester on busy Sundays in December.

On Sundays 4, 11 and 18 December an additional hourly train service will provide shoppers and daytrippers from Walton-on-the-Naze, Frinton-on-Sea, Kirby Cross, Thorpe-le-Soken, Weeley, Great Bentley, Alresford, Wivenhoe and Hythe with a service into Colchester Town.
