What does the Registrar do?

The Registrar keeps a register of names and addresses of shareholders and the number of shares held. The Registrar also issues dividend cheques and share certificates. You should inform the Registrar of any change of address. Access the Download Forms page to find out more information.

How do I buy and sell shares?

You may use a stockbroker, bank or 'share shop' that offer services to buy and sell shares. Commission charges may vary between organisations. Alternatively you may use the Sharedealing Service provided by Equiniti Limited.

Do you provide a low cost share dealing service?

Equiniti Limited provide a postal or telephone share dealing service at competitive rates. Further details are available on the Sharedealing Service page.

Can I transfer my shares into an ISA?

We do not offer this service at this time.

How do I transfer shares into another person's name?

You do not always need to use a bank or stockbroker to buy and sell shares. Shares may be transferred to another person by using a stock transfer form. Stock transfer forms are available from the Registrar on the Shareholder Helpline number - 0870 601 5366 who can also give you further details of how the process works. When are the dividend payment dates?

Can I have my dividends paid directly into my bank account?

Yes. You may download a mandate form or contact the Registrars Shareholder Helpline on 0870 601 5366 and request a form to be sent to you.

What do I do if I have lost my share certificate?

If your certificates are lost or stolen the Registrar can arrange for a duplicate certificate to be issued. Contact the Registrar on the Shareholder Helpline number 0870 601 5366. The Registrar will need to arrange for you to complete an indemnity covering the company for any loss arising from a dispute as over who owns the shares. There may be a charge payable.

I have changed my address or name - what do I need to do?

Access the Download Forms page to find out more information.

Alternatively, you should write to the Registrar at Equiniti Limited, Aspect House, Spencer Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN99 6DA informing them of your change of address. Correspondence should refer to National Express Group PLC and state clearly the registered name of the holding. We do not provide any discount on our services as we believe that shareholders should benefit from the business through increased profits.

Why do I receive more than one copy of the report and accounts?
