Steaming ahead! Well done Stuart
Stuart Lawler, of National Express East Anglia’s Crown Point Engineering Depot at Norwich is celebrating after completing his apprenticeship and receiving his certificates in a special ceremony that took place at London Liverpool Street station.
The Editor of Modern Railways magazine, James Abbott, presented Stuart Lawler with two certificates on the completion of his four year Advanced Apprenticeship on Friday 9 May.
Stuart’s apprenticeship covered both electrical and mechanical skills. His training was undertaken at both the EAGIT Training Centre and Crown Point Depot in Norwich. Stuart is already a Shift Fleet Engineer, having had a promotion in just three months since completing his apprenticeship. He is now taking on his next challenge; working towards an HND. Stuart lives close to Dereham, in Norfolk.
Nigel Teulon Route Engineer on National Express East Anglia’s mainline commented:
“I would like to congratulate Stuart on his dedication and enthusiasm over the last four years. He has worked really hard to achieve this. Stuart is now an integral part of the team at Crown Point Depot and we wish him well in his further studies.”
