Seven Kings station improvements take shape
National Express East Anglia has recently launched a station upgrade plan for Seven Kings station in Essex following consultation with local residents. The improvements are now gaining momentum and progress is being made on a number of initiatives.
David Winder National Express East Anglia’s Business Director for the Metro and Southend route commented:
‘Station improvements at Seven Kings are gaining pace. We have already put in place additional security personnel on a trial basis and redecoration of key areas of the station has commenced. Late in February our new, more robust cleaning schedule began, with daily litter collections and regular cleaning. Now the work on the footbridge has been completed, giving a better first impression of the station. More improvements are to be made throughout 2008.’
