Tottenham Hale Station was a hive of activity on a recent weekend as the local National Express East Anglia team and their managers worked together to improve the station facilities from both an employee and customer perspective.
The work undertaken included a total refurbishment of the station supervisor’s office and the staff room to give the local team a much better environment to work in. In addition, the platform surfaces were given a heavy clean and the customer toilets repainted. The station is now also adorned with a number of new plant tubs and hanging baskets to brighten up the forecourt – just in time for spring, with this work co-ordinated by Kim Wilmott, the local Station Care Assistant.
Paul Barnfield, National Express East Anglia’s Head of Customer Services – West said:
‘I really appreciate the work of our team and all their efforts in giving the station a spring-clean. Tottenham Hale station has been enhanced for customers and staff alike and is now a brighter, cleaner place for all concerned.’
