National Express releases 250,000 coach seats for £1 each

1 Apr 2009

National Express has launched 250,000 coach seats for £1 each travelling from 70 destinations across the UK to and from London.

The £1 coach fare is available to book online at www.nationalexpress.com for travel during April, May and June. National Express is encouraging customers to take advantage of the low cost fares to visit friends and family or enjoy a weekend away in the Capital.

The quarter of a million £1 fares have no hidden costs, just lots of extras including plenty of luggage space in the secure hold, a guaranteed seat and a window of Britain to enjoy.  National Express has also revamped its webpage to make finding a low cost coach fare easier than ever before.

The new look webpage features a ‘low fare finder’ which searches the National Express coach system to find the cheapest fares. Customers simply enter their destination and travel dates to reveal a calendar of fares from £1.  People can then choose to vary their travel date or time to take advantage of the best available price.

The £1 one way fare is available online from 1 April until 30 June at www.nationalexpress.com. The offer excludes travel between the busy Easter period of 8 – 16 April.
