Extra trains for Cambridge United supporters travelling to Wembley

Train operator National Express East Anglia (NXEA) is providing extra trains and hundreds of additional seats on scheduled services for Cambridge United supporters heading to the Blue Square Conference Play-Off Final on Sunday 17 May 2009.

There are no planned engineering works affecting the Cambridge to London Liverpool Street route on 17 May. Extra non-stop trains between Cambridge and London Liverpool Street will depart Cambridge at: 10.48 and 11.48. Additional return services will depart Liverpool Street at 20.00 and 21.00.

NXEA will also be operating an hourly service between Cambridge and London Liverpool Street with trains departing at 32 minutes past each hour, and an hourly service between Cambridge and Stratford departing at 51 minutes past each hour.

Additional carriages will be provided on these services and customers travelling on the Liverpool Street services are advised to change at either Tottenham Hale or Liverpool Street for London Underground services to Wembley Park. Customers travelling on services to Stratford are advised to change at Tottenham Hale for London Underground services.

Adult Weekend Super Off-Peak tickets including travel on London Underground are priced at £19 from Cambridge. Child fares and discounts for railcard holders are available with these tickets.
