National Express and the Environment

Travelling by coach, train and buses are more environmental friendly as they produce less carbon than travelling by a car. As a business we are trying to make our services more attractive to people so they will use more of our services and become less reliant on cars and as a result make a greener choice of travel.

It is our vision to make our services the best leading greener, cleaner and most efficient transportation service.

We aim to achieve this by reducing our environmental impact of travel, reviewing internally our operations to evaluate and improve our environmental performances and as a result improve the condition of the environment and the communities where we operate.

• Other environmental issues (such as ensuring that we don't have any pollution incidents and the sustainability of our new or refurbished developments)
