National Express East Anglia appoints Jackie Gibbs to new customer service role
National Express East Anglia (NXEA) has appointed a new Head of Customer Service in the northern region of their network - Jackie Gibbs.
Jackie has worked for National Express for the past two years and has recently moved to this new role to lead the customer service organisation in the northern area of the NXEA network. The geographic area Jackie is responsible for includes much of north Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk, encompassing 88 stations, 8 area managers and includes the key mainline services operating from Norwich, Ipswich and Colchester.
Speaking about her new role Jackie said:
“What I love most about my job are the people. The best moments are when a customer goes away with a smile on their face when we've helped in making a difference to their travel experience.
“I relish the opportunity to take on this new challenge and my priority will be to further improve the service we provide to our customers on a daily basis.”
Before joining National Express Jackie worked in management consultancy, and has an impressive background in retail starting life at Marks and Spencer where she became the youngest supervisor in the company, and then progressing to key retail positions at Dorothy Perkins, Falmer Jeans and latterly at Warner Bros. Studio Stores where Jackie headed their European retail operation.
Jackie, who lives in Essex, enjoys the great outdoors, including horseriding and walking her dogs.
