New height adjustable counter at Walthamstow central station
National Express East Anglia and the Department for Transport, have recently improved access for customers at Walthamstow Central station.
A new height adjustable counter, which is DDA compliant, has recently been installed at the station. The new modular style fitting comprises of a window with a counter which can be adjusted for customers using wheelchairs and mobility vehicles, helping to make ticket purchasing or enquiries more convenient. The new counter will make travel simpler for customers travelling to and from Walthamstow Central station.
This accessibility improvement has been jointly funded by National Express East Anglia and the Department for Transport’s Access for All Small Schemes fund.
