Newest arrival at King's Cross is open for business
Contemporary comfort and stress-free style are hallmarks of new First Class Lounge
TRAIN operator National Express East Coast has announced its latest arrival at London King’s Cross station … a brand new First Class Lounge.
The lounge, accessed from the York Way entrance to the station close to Platform 1, offers a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the capital.
Stepping into the modern, contemporary surroundings of the lounge, customers can enjoy a choice of daily newspapers and a range of complimentary refreshments including tea, coffee, still or sparking water or orange juice.
For those feeling a little hungry, the First Class Lounge menu offers a selection of delicious snacks – whilst a stylish refreshment bar serves a full drinks menu, including an array of fine wines.
Lounge users can also take advantage of complimentary wireless internet – creating a seamless mobile office when used with free WiFi on board National Express East Coast trains.
National Express East Coast managing director Susan Goldsmith said: “We are very proud of our new First Class Lounge at King’s Cross.
“We’ve had some very positive feedback from customers since it opened earlier this month. Customers like the relaxed, cool atmosphere, with designer furniture creating a fashionable feel.
“We know that business customers especially appreciate having somewhere to work, to read or just relax before or after a journey with us. The lounge is also the ideal place to relax before travelling home after a long weekend in the capital”.
Fax and photocopier facilities are also available at the King’s Cross First Class Lounge to help keep business travellers work smarter – and electronic display screens keep everyone in touch with latest train arrival and departure information, without the distractions of public address announcements.
