Seaside special is on track for success
The Cromer Pier summer seaside special is on track as National Express teams up with the cast of the famous end-of-the-pier show in a unique double bill at Norwich station on Friday 10 July at 10.00am to launch a new all-inclusive ticket deal and name a Bittern Line train ‘Cromer Pier Seaside Special’.
National Express East Anglia and the Pavilion Theatre have joined together to offer visitors to Cromer Pier a fantastic ‘2 for 1’ offer as customers purchasing a train ticket to Cromer will also be able to buy two tickets to the seaside special show for the price of one. To promote the offer and partnership between National Express and the Pavilion Theatre, members of the cast will perform an impromptu show at the station before naming the Bittern Line train.
The Cromer Pier Pavilion Theatre summer seaside special is a traditional variety show, suitable for all the family, featuring comedy, magic, music, song and dance. Stars of the show include father and son comedy duo Simmons and Simmons, multi-instrumentalist Andy Eastwood, singers Victoria Scott and Aston Dobson, magician Luke Cook and the seaside special show dancers.
Seaside Special runs until 19 September 2009 and the ‘2 for 1’ ticket deal is available for the entire run of the show.
James Steward, National Express East Anglia’s Area Manager for Rural Routes said:
“We’re delighted to team-up with the Pavilion Theatre to provide a fantastic ‘2 for 1’ offer on seaside special tickets on presentation of a valid train ticket to Cromer. This traditional end-of-the-pier variety show offers a great day out for all the family and we hope that many visitors and local residents will take the train to Cromer for this year’s show.”
