National Express is the official travel partner for the Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards, the biggest event of its kind in the UK.
Every year our special Pride of Britain coach - which in past years has featured a picture of Carol Vorderman - covers hundreds of miles across England, Scotland and Wales in search of the UK's unsung heroes.
We support The Daily Mirror in its quest to recognise people from all walks of life who have done things that are outstanding. We've travelled to towns and cities all over the country from London to Glasgow, Cardiff to Birmingham and Leeds to Newcastle to support this quest to find inspirational individuals, meeting famous faces along the way.
Award supporters include Prince Charles and Prime Minister David Cameron as well as 'national treasures' of the UK entertainment industry and international A-list stars.
Past stops on the Pride of Britain coach tour have included a whistle-stop visit to Coronation Street's famous cobbles, a visit to ITV's Daybreak to meet presenters Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield and a trip to meet the stars of Scotland's Waterloo Road.
We are also very honoured to take the winners to the Pride of Britain ceremony itself which takes place annually at London's Grosvenor House.
Past winners include young comic Jack Carroll who had the other winners in stitches on the coach with his jokes.
As the UK's largest coach operator we cover millions of miles on the UK's roads every year and so we feel our work with The Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards is a really fitting way to support those extraordinary people who go the extra mile - and then some - for others.
