The Values Awards programme was launched, right across the National Express Group during 2012. The awards now enable us to celebrate the work of teams and individuals in each of our businesses who are bringing our Values to life.
These awards give all of our people the opportunity to nominate their colleagues and work mates for a Values award. Anyone receiving a nomination receives a 'well done' letter. Each year 15 local teams or individuals from each business are then rewarded with cash prizes for their personal support of our Safety, Community, People, Customer and Excellence activities.
These local awards events also choose a number of local business winners in each Value category and they then go through to our Annual Group Awards event which is normally held in London each Spring. At this event the overall winners of our Group Values Awards are chosen, with each of them receiving a cash prize and a trophy.
