Alsa celebrated the start of its centenary year at the 2023 International Tourism Fair (FITUR). It is 100 years since Automóviles Luarca, S.A. was established in the village of Luarca, Asturias, in 1923.

To celebrate its centenary Alsa´s stand was designed to commemorate the first 100 years of history of the company, showcasing a vintage vehicle: a Chevrolet Capitol from 1927 - a very popular model in the 20s and early 30s, that served some of the first passenger transport routes in Spain. 

Along this vintage vehicle, Alsa also showcased another vehicle symbolising the future of mobility: the first autonomous bus operating in Spain since 2020 at the Campus of the Universidad Autónoma in Madrid.

The stand demonstrated Alsa's evolution becoming a sustainable, multi-modal and connected mobility company ready to adapt to the new trends in mobility.

During the Fair, the company hosted round tables to discuss the trends of mobility in the future and about tourism in Spain's Autonomous Regions.
